Cedric lived for many years in Hong Kong. He qualified in 1991 with MBBS (Hons) from St. Bartholomew's Hospital having first studied for a BSc. in chemistry at Royal Holloway College and a MSc. in molecular biology & biotechnology at University College, London. House officer jobs at Barts and the Homerton were followed by SHO posts in medicine at the Whittington, Papworth and Addenbrookes leading to MRCP(UK) in 1994. His interest in dermatology began with the SHO job in Addenbrookes, followed by SpR training at Oxford, Stoke Mandeville, Amersham and Great Ormond Street Hospitals. He obtained his CCST in 1999 and was appointed Consultant Dermatologist at Hinchingbrooke Hospital in November 2000 with an honorary appointment to Addenbrooke's hospital. His clinical interest includes patients with hair and nail disorders. He is co-author of a handbook of diseases of the hair and scalp published by Blackwell Science Ltd. Govardhan Das (known to friends as 'Gordon') is originally from India, where he completed his initial training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He has trained in the UK since 1992, following the path of registrar rotation through Liverpool, Coventry, Redditch, Worcester, Birmingham, Warrington and Chester. He spent nearly 7 years at the Liverpool Women’s Hospital, which is the UK’s largest maternity unit. Mr Lim received his specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology in Aberdeen, Scotland. He has been a consultant in obstetrics and gynaecology since 1990, the first four years being in Auckland, New Zealand, followed by five years in Scotland. Mr Lim is currently a consultant in Huntingdon and sees patients with all kinds of gynaecological problems except for colposcopy or cancer. He has a particular interest in menstrual problems and pelvic pain. He undertook training in hysteroscopic surgery in New Zealand and Australia. Mr Patel has been working at Hinchingbrooke hospital in Huntingdon since 1997 and is currently managing a consultant firm as a locum consultant. He completed his orthopaedic training in India in 1993 and worked as a consultant there for two years before coming to the UK in 1996. Mr Quick qualified in dental surgery and took the dental fellowship. Following a period at the Eastman Dental Hospital, he qualified in medicine at the London Hospital, then underwent a full training in general surgery and vascular surgery in London and Leicester. Mr Quick's practice includes both peripheral arterial and venous disorders, including claudication, aneurysms, varicose veins and venous eczema and ulceration. He also deals with thyroid lumps, salivary disorders and other lumps in the neck and uses current mesh techniques to repair hernias, including inguinal and incisional hernias.
